Under the Polycol brand, the tailor-made products are successfully deployed in numerous technical applications around the world. The products are used as rheological- and water retention additives for building materials, plasters, and paint formulations.

Polycol products are based on a raw material of natural origin – the guar bean. Modern production processes are leveraged to chemically modify the natural raw materials and thus create the optimal conditions for the applications. This chemical modification gives the products a relatively high degree of molar substitution (MS) as well as considerably increased resistance to enzymatic degradation. These properties put Polycol WP and Polycol T on par with the more widely known cellulose ethers that are on the market since many years. Polycol WP and T products can also offer different advantages over cellulose ethers depending on the related application.
