Polycol T-08 H is a highly etherified polysaccaride with low viscosity, mainly used as a water-retention and thickening agent. The product is particularly adapted to being used for enhanced rheological behaviour, application ease and for lowering the stickiness on the trowelling equipment in different kind of building chemical products like gypsum- and cement plasters, renders, fillers and mortars. Polycol T-08 H offers superior water retention (open time) at same dosage compared to other Polycol products.
Polycol T-08 H is an alternative to cellulose ethers, like MC/HPMC/MHEC: Replacement of 30 – 100% of the cellulose ether is suggested, depending on the application. The optimal concentration of Polycol T-08 H must be determined with specific tests by the user himself, in his own formulation. Typical application amount : 0.05 – 0.4%
